Daisy Dukes and 'drop it like it's hot!'" • Silicon Valley Metro (October 2003)
"Local vocalist Maya Azucena deserves massive props. With every passing month she seems to be more on the rise, so here's a chance to catch her before she takes off nationally. Blending soul, hip hop, rock, and latin jazz in her music, perhaps the most stunning feature of her performances is her natural presence — in terms of both raw vocal power and sheer charisma." • JM (flavorpill.com, April 2003)
