The Excelano Project

The Excelano Project is a collective of poet-activists dedicated to using art and expression as a means of raising political consciousness and stimulating social transformation. Using song, verse, and instrumentals, they've created a unique poetic sound. They will be headlining the "Beyond Words, Beyond Borders Tour" this summer, which is a fundraising campaign for the work Doctors Without Borders is doing to fight HIV and AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa.

GOAL: To use music, poetry, and song to inspire, raise awareness, stimulate, anger, impassion, and soften hearts of people around the country, while raising money to assist the global fight against HIV and AIDS...doing all of this • "one city, one show, one word at a time..."
