Sarah Hannah

Sarah Hannah's first book of poetry, Longing Distance (Tupelo Press, 2004) was a semi-finalist for the Yale Younger Poets Prize. Since its publication, the book has been nominated for the Kate Tufts Discovery Award, two Pushcart Prizes, the ForeWord Prize, and the Norma Farber Award from the Poetry Society of America. Her poems have appeared in The Southern Review, Parnassus, Boulevard, Western Humanities Review, Michigan Quarterly Review, Southern Humanities Review, Gulf Coast, Crab Orchard Review, and other journals.
