Osagyefo, this Jamaican born poet truly exhibits the meaning of the phrase, word, sound, and power. His energy filled performances leaves an audience speechless or chanting with him.

He stands in a class by him self on today's global poetry scene as a dub poet, a revolutionary style of poetry, blended to the hardcore drum and bass rhythm of reggae music that was made popular by Jamaicans in the seventies.

Osagyefo started his career in Jamaica and has left his mark on stages in New York, Africa, Toronto and Europe,.

He has had three successful tours in Europe, where he featured on the Babylon by foot tour with Ainsly Burrows and soloed on his Chanting down Babylon tour. Osagyefo was awarded the Zoo Award for the best over all performer | reading for 2001 by the Farrago poetry society in London.

He is the author of Psalms of Osagyefo, Chanting down Babylon, his first book of poetry publish in October 2001.

He was a guest artist on 'Zen Turtle', an album released by Soothsayer (aka Reginald Hodges) on the Trumystic Label in 1999, where he soloed on two tracks.

He has preformed on numerous occasions at SOB, the Roxy and Irving Plaza in NY where he has opened shows for legendary reggae greats such as ; Burning Spear and Ky-Mani Marley on the 'Don't Hurt The Rastaman' Tour , Morgan Heritage, Black Uhuru on the 'Peter Tosh Tribute Concert', also featuring alongside and opening shows for Anthony B, Mutabaruka, Yellow Man, Tony Rebel and Sister Corral to name a few.

Osagyefo, also featured as the Opening act for the '2001 Fire Power' showcase' with Louie Culture, Coco Tea 'Sizzla and Capleton in Brooklyn NY.

Currently working on his first album entitled, 'The Spirit Within' due for release end summer of 2002.
